Pius XI Boys Basketball Team Camp

(Open to boys entering 7th-8th grade)

 

The Pius XI Boys Basketball Team Camp is open to boys basketball teams with 7- 12 participating players. The main objective of this camp is to organize your team to get a “jump start” on the grade school athlete, and to prepare as a team for the up-coming season.

Each session will focus on specific parts of the game. Maximum effort is placed on the fundamentals of the game with a “team fundamentals” approach at the forefront. Individual coaches will have the opportunity to request specific training for their individual teams.

 

In addition, each session will have a time, controlled scrimmage. A written evaluation of each team will be presented by Coach Claassen at the conclusion of the camp.

Coaches and parents are invited to observe and video tape each session for future reference.

Sessions are limited to nine teams per session with a minimum of sevan players and a maximum of 12 players per team.

 

Session 1 July 13-16

9:00 am-12:00 pm

All sessions held in the Pius XI field house

Camp Fee: $90 (per player)
Camp enrollment deadline is July 1, 2009
