Girls Basketball Camp
(open to girls entering 4th - 9th grade)

This camp is for girls who want to improve their basketball skills, work hard and feel good about themselves. The objective is for girls to learn the fundamental skills that are necessary to compete at the next level. In this camp participants will learn:

• Competitive drills
• Offensive and defensive skills drills
• Post and perimeter individual work
• Skill training -- offensive and defensive team concept play

Scott Herrick will coach the 2009 Girls Basketball Camp. Herrick is currently the head coach for the Pius XI Girls Varsity Basketball Team. In the 2008 season, the junior varsity and freshman teams won the Classic 8 Conference, and the varsity team posted a 15–7 record. Herrick’s overall basketball coaching record is 438-89.

Early registration is recommended to ensure your daughter a spot in your preferred session.

Session 1 June 15–18 (entering grades 4 & 5)
8:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Session 2 June 15–18 (entering grades 6 & 7)
10:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Session 3 June 15–18 (entering grades 8 & 9)
1:30 PM – 4:00 PM

All sessions are held in the Pius XI field house>

Camp Fee: $65 (Session 1)
$85 (Sessions 2 & 3)
