Girls Softball Camp
(open to girls entering 6th–9th grade)

This camp is open to girls who love softball, want to work hard and learn to play their best. This is a unique
camp dedicated to individual and team improvement. All athletes will receive maximum individual attention. In this camp participants will learn:

• Understanding how all nine positions fit together
• Infield focus
• Outfield focus
• All aspects of hitting

The Girls Softball Camp will be coached by Joel Claassen, who has been the Pius XI Girls Varsity Softball coach since 1987. In that time, Coach Claassen has surpassed 300 wins, won five State Championships and 15 Conference Championships. Assisting in coaching will be current assistant coaches and current softball players.

 

Camp sessions will be held at Dyer Field (2 blocks west of Pius XI). Participants should bring their own glove and shoes.
