School Day Schedule
- Pius XI operates on a five-day scheduling cycle in a two-semester school year
- The advantages of the Pius XI schedule are that students master their flexible daily schedule, which allows them access to a variety of resources during the school day, and at the same time, they learn critical time-management skills
Innovative Home Room System (TAC)
- Pius XI High School pioneered an innovative homeroom system known as TAC (Teacher Advisor Contact)
- TACs are communities of 16-24 students mentored by a faculty member who serves as their teacher advisor. Students stay in the same TAC all four years
- TACs are comprised of students from all grade levels, allowing students to benefit from direct, daily interaction with upper and lower classmen
Inclusive Athletics
