Community Involvement and/or Service Work: Examples:
I am a Eucharistic Minister at St Williams Parish in Waukesha. I am a Vice-President of the Waukesha West HS Band board (I am the coordinator of two activities). I volunteer to serve meals with Pius XI HS.
Personal Teaching Style:
I try to get to know my students and relate to what they have going on in their lives. I challenge my students to understand the material, not just to recite what I have taught them. I am more of a hands-on teacher, encouraging students to work at the board, get involved; I do not want to be a lecture-only type of teacher.
How I integrate my faith and Catholic values into my teaching:
I treat my students with respect and expect them to treat each other with respect as well. I feel that I model a helpful attitude and stress to my students the importance of helping others.
