Community Involvement and/or Service Work:
Currently: I help serve food at St. Gall’s each month. In the past I was a member of the WISAA Board of Controls for 9 years as well as a board member of the Milwaukee Kickers. I was also a parish council member at St. Vincent Pallotti for several years and a religious ed Group Leader for St. Theresa for a year. I was a bingo volunteer at both Pius and St. Vincent Palloti for almost 15 years. On numerous occasions I have been a guest speaker at various sports banquets, or basketball clinics. Ushered for a couple of years at St. Vincent Pallotti was athletic director at St. Vincent Pallotti for several years.

Personal Teaching Style:
I try to get students to be personally responsible for their own learning and try to change their negative attitudes and non-productive behaviors with respect to learning math. I believe in varied, interactive, and as much one on one learning as possible.

How I integrate my faith and Catholic values into my teaching:
I am not good at talking the talk, so I try to walk the walk. Specifically, I try to be patient, compassionate, fair, tolerant, just and understanding. I try to act “as Jesus would act”, particularly in stressful and difficult times. I work at caring about people even when it is not easy. I try to keep a perspective on what is really important as opposed to what is just fluff. I pray with and through my work, my efforts, my attitude, my failures and my interactions with people.
