Cross Country is the purest of high school sports. Everyone runs the same distance race on the same day; there is no politics or jockeying for playing time. Your challenges are all in front of you on a 3.1 mile course. Whether your challenges are from a teammate, opponent, or your previous personal best the ultimate goal is to be the best you can be.  To quote Coach Lombardi - "Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence."  As a microcosm for the challenges we find in life, Cross Country allows young men to develop and reveal the character necessary for later success.

The parent meeting for Cross Country is the week before the start of the season. Parents and athletes are expected to participate in fundraising and assist in the concession stand.

The end of the season banquet is a whole team affair with dates and locations provided at the end of the Cross Country season.
