Head Varsity Coach- Coach Suprise
Been the varsity coach at Pius XI for eight years
Coaching for 21 years at the club Premier, High School, and Junior College levels
Has several USSF and NSCAA licenses
Selected in both 2006 and 2007 as coach in the Wisconsin High School All-Star Game
2007 WSCA Private School Coach of the Year
Current youth director of the Croatian Eagles S.C. and U13 Boys Premier coach
Philosophy: Respect the game, your school, team, and opponents. Prepare yourself mentally and physically to compete at the highest level possible. Decision making under pressure is key to advance to the next level.

Asistant Varsity Coach- Aaron Schroeder -
Been the assistant varsity coach at Pius XI for 5 years
Played for the Bavarians as a youth
Three-time state champion Croatian Eagles Majors
Played with the Milwaukee Wave United and St. Louis professional outdoor teams
Appeared in three Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup games with the Croatian Eagles Majors
Caches the U15 Boys 1st Division team at the Croatian Eagles S.C. 
Philosophy: Play simple, compete for every play, ball, and square inch on the field. Fitness and work rate of the player is key.

Head Junior Varsity Coach- Raico Poledica
Been the JV coach at Pius XI for eight years.
Has coached at the club Premier level for 26 years
In the professional system of Olympiakos S.C. as a youth in his hometown in Greece
Currently coaches U17 at Brookfield S.C.
USSF D and NSCAA Advanced National License
Philosophy: Compete and make the right tactical decisions under pressure. A commitment to excellence is a must.


Assistant Junior Varsity and Goalkeepers Coach- Tommy Langer Jr.
Been coaching at Pius XI for two years
Coached at the club level for four years and recently was a goalkeeper at Wisconsin Lutheran College
Coaches various teams for WSC United and currently plays for WSC United in the adult 1st Division. 
Philosophy: Transitioning to the high school game through the development of the mental speed and skills to ensure success in high school soccer….while stressing the academic and social growth of a new high school student.
2007-'08 Varsity Team

Season outlook for 2008 looks much the same as 2007. We are returning 15 players led on the offensive side by returning starters Philip Suprise, Austin Toth, Austin Robb, Sam Gordan, and Victor Hernandez. On the defensive side we will be led by returning starters Mike Nowak, Kellen Muldoon, and AJ Vermiglio. As always, we will be one of the top defending teams.

We have a lot of returning varsity players ready to meet the challenge of winning a Classic 8 Conference Championship and the Division 1 State Championship in 2008.

2007 Individual Accomplishments

Senior Joe Marasco - 1st Team All-State, 1st Team All-Conference, four-year starter and letter winner. Team captain and leader of defense that allowed only 20 goals and posted 15 shutouts.

Senior Andy Anger - Honorable Mention All-Conference. Three-year starter and letter winner.  Member of the defense that allowed only 20 goals and posted 15 shutouts.

Junior Philip Suprise - 1st Team All-State, Classic 8 Conference Player of the Year, Journal Sentinel Player of the Year, NSCAA All-Midwest Region Player, leading goal scorer in Division 1(37). Two-year starter and three-year letter winner.Junior Austin Toth - Honorable Mention All-State, 1st Team All-Conference, Leader in assists in Division 1 (24). Three-year starter and letter winner.

Junior Austin Robb - Honorable Mention All-Conference, 2nd on team with 16 goals and points (43). Scored all four goals in playoff game against West Allis Hale. Three-year starter and letter winner.

Junior Kellen Muldoon - Honorable Mention All-Conference, One of the Division 1 leaders for assists by a defender (6). Part of defense that allowed only 20 goals (26 games) and 15 shutouts. Three-year starter and letter winner.

Sophomore Mike Nowak - Honorable Mention All-Conference, One of the state leaders with 15 shutouts as a goalkeeper and 20 goals allowed in 26 games. Two-year starter and letter winner.
