The Poms squad has been a proud example of excellence for many years at Pius XI High School. They train and compete year round, as well as provide school spirit and unity. They perform at numerous athletic events including football, basketball, soccer and hockey as well as school assemblies. The squad has been competing with Badgerette Pom Pon Inc. in the Class A Division for several years. They have competed at the top of this division for the last decade. The Pius XI Poms squad also participates in numerous charitable functions throughout the year. Most notably, Kicking for a Cure, which is a contributor to the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure to help aid in research and cure for breast cancer.
