PIUS FILM SOCIETY

The Pius XI Film Society exists when students come forth who are interested in film: either as film enthusiasts who want opportunities to watch and critique films with others, or as young filmmakers who want opportunities to create movies. Activities can include after-school viewings, experimenting with filming techniques during resource mods, attending local film festivals, and volunteering at the Milwaukee Spotlight Student Film Festival.

Founded by Pius XI Film Society moderator Dominic Inouye, the fourth annual Spotlight festival will be held October 11-12, 2008.  The deadline for submissions is July 18, 2008. Students, parents, and teachers interested in submitting, attending, or volunteering should check out www.milwaukeespotlightfilms.org  for more information.
