The Pius XI chapter of SADD, Students Against Destructive Decisions, has been an active club for many years. SADD is a peer leadership organization dedicated to preventing destructive decisions, particularly underage drinking, other drug use, impaired driving, and teen violence.
Some activities that SADD members have participated:
- Bake sale at Parent/Teacher Conferences
- Pre-prom assembly
- Wrapping trees in Candy Cane Lane
- Taking cookies and gifts to children at La Causa
- Fundraising at Boston Market
- Sponsoring a Fun Walk and donating proceeds to Make-a-Wish foundation
