Scope is a year long course that is a production course designed for those of you who wish to put into practice your skills of writing, editing, desktop publishing layout, and newspaper management for our award-winning student newspaper. Its aim is excellence and timeliness in writing. Currently, there are seven issues per year with news, editorials, sports, cartoons, photography, and other features. Only juniors and seniors who serve as publication editors receive .5 credit; otherwise this course does not carry academic credit.
