STARTING A CLUB

Co-curricular activities offer students the chance to broaden their interests, uncover their talents and build their self-confidence. Not only do studies show that students who are involved in co-curricular activities do better academically, but colleges and universities expect students to have actively participated in a range of co-curriculars during high school. At Pius XI, this is easy as there’s truly something for everybody. And if there isn’t, students are invited to organize a new club to meet their interests.

All sanctioned co-curricular activities are under the direction of our nationally recognized student activity director, Patty Hupfer Riedel, who has received numerous awards including the Warren E. Shull National Advisor of the Year Award presented by the National Association of Student Councils.
