The purpose of Student Forum is to represent student opinions and to present student concerns to administrators and teachers who are able to address them. The group serves as a liaison between students and administration. Additionally, they create opportunities for school discussion, service and many other activities. It’s all about what the students want it to be!
Since this school year began, they’ve:
- Helped with school workshops during orientation
- Planted a garden around the Peace Pole
- Set up and staffed the Honor Schedule Room
- Hosted the Public Forum discussion of Pius XI issues about which students have concerns
- Coordinated the Pumpkin Decorating contest
- Collected information on assessment exemptions to be used to encourage their continuation
- Created and sold P-House T-shirts
- Set up last year’s senior gift (TVs for the fitness room)
- Raised numerous issues on Student-Faculty Boards
- Relayed TAC student concerns about many issues
