Pius XI High School continues to transform the ways it delivers exemplary Catholic high school education. Pius XI has always dedicated itself to achieve straight A’s in the areas of Academics,

All students who are interested in applying for admission to Pius XI High School are required to complete an admissions portfolio; this includes incoming freshman and transfer applicants.

Incoming Freshman

Eighth grade students wishing to be considered for admissions to Pius XI High School are

required to provide the following:

·         Enrollment Application including essay

·         Most recent report card

·         Recommendation forms (included in admissions packet)

World Language, Math, General Recommendation

·         $25 Non-refundable Application Fee

If applying by fax, application fee must be received before applicant will be

considered for admission

·         Placement Test Scores

Incoming Freshman Placement Testing:

The placement test is required for all eighth grade applicants interested in being considered for

admission to Pius XI High School.

Transfer Applicant

Students interested in transferring to Pius XI High School from a different high school are required to submit a complete Transfer Admission Portfolio. All of the following documents must be received before the prospective student will be considered for admission:

·         Admission Application including Essay

·         $25 Non-refundable Application Fee

·         Pre-Admission Questionnaire (Section I and II)

·         Complete Transcript (Unofficial is acceptable)

·         Most Recent Quarter Grades/Progress Report (If not included in transcript)

·         Standardized Tests Scores (PSAT, PLAN, STS, ACT, SAT)

After the admission committee reviews the admission portfolio select candidates and their parent/guardian will be invited to Pius XI for a Pre-Admission Interview. The admission interviews are conducted by representatives from the counseling and administrative departments. After the interview a final decision is made regarding acceptance.

PLEASE NOTE: To be considered for enrollment during the current school year the application portfolio must be completed prior to the third week of a given semester.
