Theater Lab Workshop

(open to students entering 10th–’08 grads)

 

This workshop is open to current (07–08) 9th–12th grade students (including graduating seniors) who are seriously interested in exploring the performing arts. This is an intensive three week course supervised by
JoAnne Woodard and Kevin Schwartz and taught by professional theater artists as well as an acting faculty
which is comprised of students from the top performing arts schools. This workshop will give students an
opportunity to train and develop their own individual talents through morning classes not currently offered as
part of the Pius XI theater curriculum.

In addition, students will be cast in a significant role in one of six projects which are presented to the public at the
end of the third week, giving each participant an opportunity for character growth and development. Sessions run
Monday–Thursday with performances on Wednesday and Thursday, July 23–24, 2008 at 7:00 PM.
