Academic Excellence. Tailored Curriculum

At Pius XI, our students are scholars. We push our students to succeed and think critically about the world around them.

With a wide, varied and integrated curriculum, Pius XI students are prepared for post-secondary education in all fields, from STEM to the arts.

With 12 AP courses and even more honors courses, there are numerous opportunities for students to challenge themselves and stretch their intellect.

We prepare students to be critical thinkers, not just great test takers; we equip them with the skills they need to make positive changes in their communities – no matter where their paths after graduation take them.

Grounded Spiritual Development

At Pius XI Catholic High School, faith is part of all we do. It is how we start and end every day, and we encourage students to grow and learn in the faith through our religious education department, service opportunities, and numerous retreats.

As part of the Pius XI community, students are grounded in their faith and challenged to apply Jesus’ teachings to their own lives in their own communities.

Our teachers and staff teach by example; our students live out God’s word in their everyday lives. Students at Pius XI come from a variety of faith backgrounds and experiences, but our community is rooted in its common focus of mutual respect and the divine dignity of every person.

When a student starts the fine arts curriculum at Pius XI, they are able to learn from nationally-renowned faculty to hone their talents.

Our students are passionate, dedicated and… they are talented.

With four disciplines and dozens of courses, there is something for every student to explore and expand their creativity and self expression.

For students who fall in love with the arts, the arts curriculum leads to many college-preparatory courses and competitions, which have awarded Pius XI students with millions of dollars in scholarship funding last year.

From theatre to dance, music to painting, our students span across all disciplines to find their own place here in our community – and in the world.
