Mary Alice Stollak (Nedobeck) ’62 is a 2005 Double Grammy Award winner (“Best Choral Performance” and “Best Classical Album”) for the critically acclaimed Naxos recording of William Bolcom’s Songs of Innocence and of Experience. She is a recipient of the Maynard Klein Award for Lifetime Achievement and Dedication to the Choral Art, given by the American Choral Directors Association-Michigan. She also was awarded the YWCA Diana Award for her contributions to the arts in mid-Michigan. In 2006, she received the East Lansing Educational Foundation Theda Assiff Award for distinguished community service. She was a 2008 finalist for the Lansing State Journal “Woman of the Year” award. 

John Schaffner was recently elected to his local Board of Education, a school district which is the 10th largest in the state of Iowa.

Patrick Redmond  has accepted a short-term position as an adjunct faculty member teaching graphic design in the Department of Art & Design of the newly-formed College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. He has also provided the book review "AGI: Graphic Design Since 1950" about the "Alliance Graphique Internationale" in the "Executive Read" column, Business Section, St. Paul Pioneer Press, Sunday, April 13, 2008. Patrick is former president of the Minnesota Chapter of AIGA. He is also proud to announce that his first grandchild was born in early April.
