Applying for Financial Aid, Scholarships and the Parental Choice Program
Financial Aid Application Process (FACTS) (For the 2026-2027 School Year)
Each family requesting financial assistance must submit one online FACTS application per family, along with current income documentation and additional supporting documentation.
All families who are seeking financial aid, must apply each year using the FACTS application process.
(Note: this is not the Parental Choice Program application process.)

Scholarship
Pius XI Need-Based and Merit-Based Scholarships
In conjunction with the FACTS financial aid application, students may additionally submit a Scholarship Application. Please include a short essay written by the student and two letters of recommendation. Many named scholarships are 4-year awards, provided the student continues to meet academic and disciplinary standards.

Father Carney Alumni Scholarship
Applicants whose parent or legal guardian is an alum of Pius XI Catholic High School are eligible to apply for the Father Carney Alumni Scholarship. Applicants must meet academic and character criteria to receive this discount each year.
Deadline for Class of 2030 Applicants: January 30,2026.

Pius XI Concurrent Student Tuition Reduction
Students attending Pius XI concurrently (at the same) will receive a $1,000 reduction in tuition for the new, incoming student. This tuition reduction is available for one student for the entirety of the time that two or more students from the same household are enrolled at Pius XI. This reduction will be applied to your tuition account automatically.
Milwaukee Archdiocese Employee Family Scholarship
Students whose parent or legal guardian is a full or part-time employee of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee are eligible to apply for this scholarship. This application needs to be submitted on an annual basis.
Deadline for Class of 2030 Applicants: January 30, 2026.
Deadline for Returning Students: March 31, 2026.

Milwaukee and Wisconsin Parental Choice Programs
Pius XI Catholic High School participates in both the Milwaukee and Wisconsin Parental Choice Programs.
Milwaukee Parental Choice Program (MPCP) Application Period for 2026-2027 School Year: February 2 - 20, 2026.
Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP) Application Period for the 2026-2027 School Year: February 2 - April 17, 2026.
Students meeting DPI residency and income guidelines may apply for Milwaukee or Wisconsin Parental Choice Program by submitting an online application through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction website. A completed application must be submitted by the deadline. All supporting documents must be provided to Pius XI Catholic High School by the deadline to complete the process.

Step 2: Required Supporting Documents

Proof of Residency documentation is required to complete verification of all online parental choice applications. Residency documents must be submitted during the enrollment period to Pius XI. Document submission options are outlined below. Parent name and address on the residency document must match your student’s choice online application.

Proof of Income documentation is required if your student is “new” to the choice program. If you selected the “DPI Method” option to verify income eligibility you will need to provide a copy of the income support along with your residency documentation to complete the choice application process. Document submission options are outlined below.
Step 3: Submitting Supporting Residency and Income Documents to Pius XI
Milwaukee Parental Choice Program (MPCP)

Application period: February 2 through February 20, 2026 – MPCP Families have the option to email PDF documents to: piusxichoiceprogram@piusxi.org OR drop documents in the Lock Box located outside of the school entrance, OR send documents to school with their current Pius XI student.

Pius XI will confirm receipt of emailed documents if they are submitted on or before February 14th and will inform parents and guardians via email reply if there are problems with submissions.
Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP)

Application period: February 2 through April 17, 2026 – WPCP Families have the option to Email PDF document to piusxichoiceprogram@piusxi.org, OR drop documents in the Lock Box located at the school entrance, OR send documents to school with their current Pius XI student.
IMPORTANT: The online application, residency documentation, and income documentation all must be submitted within the application period.
Late applications or late supporting documentation cannot be accepted per Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) guidelines. Pius XI requires each family whose student receives a choice seat to provide a birth certificate to verify student name and each family must complete a Tuition Income Determination Form to conclude if the family will have any tuition responsibility.
Tuition & Fees
The total annual investment for a student attending Pius XI Catholic High School for the 2025-2026 is $14,500. (See breakdown below)
Tuition: $13,900
Registration Fee: $100
Book/Technology Fee: $500 (includes Chromebook, charger, maintenance, textbooks, and e-textbook licensure)
Tuition does not cover transportation, meals, retreats, field trips, or any additional fees incurred by participating in extracurricular activities.
Tuition for the 2026-27 school year will be updated in Spring 2026.

Step 1: Login into FACTS and choose "Set Up a Payment Plan"

Early Bird: payment in full by June 12, 2026

2 lump sum payment plan: ½ payment due by August 1, 2026 and ½ due by January 6, 2026 *Note: thre is $25 fee to utilize this payment plan option.

Monthly payment plan: Payment plan accounts must be set-up on the FACTS website and a $100 down-payment completed by May 31. The remaining 11 payments are due monthly June 2026 - April 2027 *note there is an $80 fee to utilize the monthly payment plan.

Step 4: Submit the plan. Pius XI will then populate tuition, fees, and any tuition assistance your student received and will finalize the plan. You will receive an email from FACTS confirming that your student’s FACTS account is complete.
Note: The payment plan type selected during a student's first year at Pius XI will be automatically selected for the following years.
Tuition and Fees paid to a private school are often tax-deductible in the State of Wisconsin.
