Community Mental Health Providers

Pius XI is proud to be the first high school in Milwaukee County to become a NAMI Southeastern Wisconsin Lighthouse Project partner. The Lighthouse Project provides an Outreach/Support Coordinator who connects with families who have a child or adolescent displaying behavior that is worrisome and/or has mental health concerns. The coordinator will support the family with navigating services, in order to assist them with creating a family environment that promotes mental wellness, and encourages an atmosphere that is conducive for learning and growth.

To access the NAMI Lighthouse Coordinator, please contact your child’s counselor or Assistant Principal LaKendra Brown.

School Threats & Safety Concerns

School Threats & Safety Concerns

Life saving and confidential, the Wisconsin Department of Justice Office of School Safety created the SPEAK UP, SPEAK OUT resource to be a one-stop place to turn with important concerns. Students, parents, school staff, or any community member can submit a school safety concern or threat via the website, mobile phone application, or toll-free number. Resource center staff work around-the-clock to respond to tips and to deploy a response locally by communicating directly with school administrators, law enforcement, and counselors.

All Pius XI students have the SPEAK UP, SPEAK OUT reporting tool bookmarked on their Chromebooks.
