Dear Pius XI Students, Families, Alumni, Supporters, and Community Members:



In just a few short days, our nation will celebrate its 250th year of independence.

And, in just a few short years, the Pius XI Catholic High School community will celebrate its 100th year of educational impact.

As I begin my service as your new President, I am mindful of the timing and significance of such impressive milestone anniversaries. What a privilege it is to be a part of celebrating something so meaningful, for so many people! With now 30,000 alumni, and an enrollment of 670 for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, Pius XI proudly continues its vital mission of preparing a diverse community of students to achieve their unique and highest potential. 

I am genuinely honored to play a role in that mission, at such a special place. I want to express my sincere gratitude for the trust you’ve granted me to serve as President, succeeding Jack Herbert. Through his visionary, principled leadership these past eight years, Jack has helped position Pius XI on a very strong foundation for the future. Working collaboratively with all of you, he has set the school community on a path of sustained success. My thanks to Jack—and to all of you as well!

Together, we prepare for this new chapter and a new school year filled with possibility. We will continue building a school community where curiosity is encouraged and every student feels welcomed, challenged, and inspired to grow. ​Guided by our Franciscan values of dignity, peace, and respect, we will nurture students to excel academically, develop moral courage, and live lives of faith and service. Nearing our 100th anniversary, Pius XI remains more than a place of learning—it is a community shaped by the dedication of our staff, support of our families, the pride and tradition of the decades of alumni who have walked these halls, and the incredible potential of our current students.

Thank you for your partnership and the passion you have for our important mission. I’m excited for the journey ahead and confident in what we can and will accomplish together. I look forward to meeting each of you and working collaboratively to advance our important mission.
