Athlete Registration

Lady Popes

- We highly recommend completing the athletic registration EARLY to ensure your son/daughter is able to participate in their desired sport
- Athletic registration is due one week before the season begins
- Hang on to your son's/daughter's WIAA Physical Form as you will need to upload it to the online registration form by taking a picture of it or scanning it

Pius XI Girls Tennis Team

The Pius XI Catholic High School Girls Tennis Team represents a proud tradition of athletic excellence that spans nearly a century of competition. The school's athletic programs are described as "a large community, rich with spirit and tradition", and the tennis program continues this legacy by developing student-athletes who embody the school's Franciscan values both on and off the court.

Pius XI Athletics focuses on improving overall athleticism, skill, strength, speed, and bettering the athlete as a person, and the Girls Tennis Team exemplifies this holistic approach to student development. The program emphasizes not only technical skill development and competitive excellence but also character formation rooted in the school's core values of dignity, peace, and respect. Players learn the importance of sportsmanship, perseverance, and teamwork while representing the Popes with pride in competition throughout the Milwaukee area and beyond.

Under the leadership of Head Coach Joel Rodriguez and Assistant Coach Brian Strack for the 2024 season, the team trains at the Juneau Playground Courts, where student-athletes develop their tennis skills while building lasting friendships and learning life lessons that extend far beyond their high school years. The program welcomes players of all skill levels, from beginners discovering their passion for tennis to experienced competitors looking to refine their game, creating an inclusive environment where every athlete can grow and contribute to the team's success.
