Welcome to Pius XI Wrestling, where legacy meets dedication on the mat! As part of Pius XI's storied athletic tradition, our wrestling program has helped shape the school's championship heritage, including three memorable WIAA State Championships in 1969, 1971, and 1979. These golden years in Pius wrestling history set the foundation for excellence that continues to inspire our athletes today.

As one of the 26 athletic programs at Pius XI, wrestling embodies the same spirit and determination that has led our school to an impressive 195 Conference Championships and 99 State Championships across all sports.

Our wrestlers carry forward the proud tradition of the Popes, competing in the Woodland Conference with the same passion and commitment that has defined Pius XI athletics for generations.

This state championship team is still not in the HOF but you can nominate them now. This team put 11 wrestlers in the finals of the Wisconsin Lutheran Tournament and won the State Tournament with two individual champions.
